"When I was planning my birthday party the first thing I knew I wanted to do was raise money for the kids in Ghana. When Mrs. Brackett told my class about how the kids in Ghana were being trafficked and beat I knew right away that I wanted to help. I wasn't sure how I was going to raise money though. When I was sitting down with my mom planning my 11th birthday she had a couple great ideas! The only idea I had at first was to collect money to build a school in Africa, and I stuck with it. By the end, I had raised $500 from all my friends donating money! My heart is going to help those in Ghana who need friends and family by their side! Kids can make just as much of a difference in this world as adults can!"
